Doing Business on 10^th February 2010

This day will enable managers of companies in Algeria, France, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Morocco, Senegal, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and Uzbekistan to meet their counterparts in order to form commercial, industrial or technological partnerships.
Targeted sectors are: energy, transport, infrastructure, information and communication technology, agrobusiness, construction and logistics.

About 300 companies from 11 countries will meet at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The companies range from suppliers and buyers to producers, distributors, retailers, international development consultants, credit insurance and credit management service providers.

Innovative Matchmaking online portal

Via innovative B2B Matchmaking software the cooperation profiles of all participants can be accessed, companies with mutual cooperation interests can be easily identified and specific meetings can be requested in advance.

More than 600 pre-arranged One-on-One business meetings will be organized for participants according to their preferences. On average, each participant will have 6 meetings with partners of his/her own choice.

Real meetings between people with similar interests

On February 10, 2010 you will meet the representatives of the companies and organisations that you have selected or that have selected you. The Paris chamber of commerce and industry will prepare a personal appointment schedule for each participant with up to 6 One-on-One meetings, each of 30 minutes duration.

This event has the aim to develop interregional partnerships in numerous sectors. It will focus on multilateral business opportunities in those regions.

How it works

In a few words…

• Registered participants will be able to request unique individual business meetings with other participants.
• Meeting requests must be confirmed by both sides in order to be scheduled.
• Shortly before the event, each participant will receive a personalized meeting schedule.
• During the event meetings will take place in Paris chamber of commerce and industry
• Assistance for any emerging questions will be provided by the local partner

How to register

Registration is open until January 29th 2010.

- Click on the  link Registration. Fill in a short profile describing your company or organization, what you are offering and/or looking for and choose your local partner. User name is your e-mail address. Select a password to enable access to your data.

- For each type of collaboration sought a new short profile can be submitted.

All entries will be checked and validated before being included in the catalogue. All fields are mandatory. If information is missing or unclear we will contact you. Profiles which are incomplete, unclear or not relevant to the event will not be included in the catalogue.

How to request meetings

• From the "catalogue of profiles/list of participants" select any partner you wish to meet. A search facility by technological keyword will help you to identify relevant profiles for your activity.
• The requested partner will receive notification of your interest. When he/she confirms their interest in meeting you, the meeting will be scheduled at the Interregional Business Forum 2010 event according to your availability.

In your personal log-in area, you will find an overview of requested and confirmed meetings.
